iN4iN Africa Network Workshop in Ghana

The upcoming „iN4iN Africa Network“ workshop is slated for Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Engineering Guest House), Kumasi from 18th to 22nd October, 2013.

The „Intelligence for Innovation“ iN4iN Program is internationally focused on promoting entrepreneurship and innovation through universities. In Africa it is called the „in4in Africa Network“. Its overall goal is to expand the activities of the network on the African continent by bringing together scientific findings and practice at the doorstep of entrepreneurs who are engaged in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on the African continent. The current memberships in Africa are universities in Ghana (KNUST), Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Tanzania with the University of Leipzig, Germany as the main coordinator.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, in Kumasi, Ghana is hosting the first workshop in Africa. It will deliberate on current issues on innovation and entrepreneurship using best world practices.

Prof. Dr. Utz Dornberger and Mr. Yolna Grimm, experts in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Leipzig University, the second oldest university in Germany, will give a workshop on entrepreneurship and innovation management.

Prof. W. O. Ellis, the Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Prof. J. M. Frimpong, the Dean of KNUST School of Business, and Mr. David Amoo-Osae, CEO of the House Group will present various aspects of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.
