Consultancy Project on Technology Transfer

In cooperation with the Project Economic Promotion in Anatolia, Turkey, of the German Technical Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH, iN4iN supported from September to December 2014 the Technology Transfer Offices of Kocaeli and Bursa in developing capacities for the strategic and operative management of the centers. The consultancy projects focused on strategy and organizational development as well as the establishment of a sustainable service portfolio that contributes to a closer cooperation between private sector and the stakeholders involved in technology transfer. In order to enhance the necessary skills for effective management of Technology Transfer Structures, iN4iN elaborated additionally a practical manual and toolbox.


Innovation Management Workshop

iN4iN realized for a group of Iranian managers a 3-day workshop on Innovation Management (03.-05.12.2014) in Leipzig.


iN4iN Africa Conference

The iN4iN Network Africa conference has ended successfully in Adama, Ethiopia. The conference was hosted by the Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) from 2nd – 6th November, 2014. The theme for the conference was “The Role of Higher Education Institutions in Facilitating Academia – industry Linkage through Entrepreneurship and Innovation”.


Certified Innovation Manager Training

iN4iN supported the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB), Colombia in the implementation of a Certified Innovation Manager Training. The objective of the programme is to create local capacities in market-oriented innovation management. Between the 24th of September and the 27th of November we conducted the three training modules.


Seminar on Innovation Management

From 22nd to the 27th of September 2014 the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia organized a training course on Innovation Management and creation of long-term and sustainable projects. iN4iN supported this event with specialized workshops on project management, generation and selection of ideas, creativity and strategic tools of innovation management.

Innovation Management Summer School

iN4iN organised from the 21th to 26th July a Market-oriented Innovation Management Summer School in Leipzig, Germany.


iN4iN Africa Network Workshop

The iN4iN Africa Network workshop was organised by the iN4iN Ruhengeri, Rwanda from the 24th to 28th April 2014 in Rwanda. The theme for the workshop was ‘Industry – Academic Relationship in Enhancing Entrepreneurship in Rwanda. The venue for the program was INES – Ruhengeri, Rwanda.


Capacity Building for Staff of the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology and other organizations 

In February 2014 and in collaboration with reputable local consulting companies, an iN4iN-expert conducted training activities with the aim of reinforcing the understanding of the interrelation between R&D, innovation, clusters and innovation systems, as well as strengthening the promotion, monitoring and evaluation of innovation-oriented programs and projects. This activity took place as part of the Vietnam – Finland Innovation Partnership Program.


Capacity building for Technology Transfer Centres

December 2012 to March 2014, in cooperation with the Project Economic Promotion in Anatolia, Turkey, of the German Technical Cooperation GIZ, iN4iN experts assist in the process of developing capacities for strategic and operative management of the Technology Transfer Offices and technology parks of the Selcuk University, in Konya, as well as of the University of Gaziantep. This aim contributes to the higher purpose of promoting closer cooperation between private sector and the stakeholders involved in technology transfer, in order to support the strategic economic sectors in those region. Given the successful implementation, this project will be extended to 2 further regions in that country.
