African German Entrepreneurship Academy (AGEA) of the international SEPT program, Leipzig, Germany in collaboration with the INES-Ruhengeri, Rwanda organized the trainer of trainers’ workshop from 18th December 2017 to 6th January 2018. The workshop was patronized by people from different high learning institutions like UTB, UTAB, UNILAK, ICK, Musanze Polytechnic, MPC, IPRC East, IPRC Kigali, IPRC West, and INES-Ruhengeri. The purpose of this workshop is to equip the participants with the needed tools to support them to establish Entrepreneurial Education Programs and Entrepreneurship Support Centers in their various institutions.
The AGEA project was officially launched in Rwanda on the 5th January 2018. Speakers at the event were Dr. Marie-Christine GASINGIRWA, Director General for Science, Technology, and Research in the Ministry of Education, Fr. Dr. Fabien HAGEMINA, the Rector of INES-Ruhengeri, Prof. Dr. Fr. NYOMBAYIRE Faustin Vice Chancellor of UTAB, Franz Eichinger from Jumelage Rhenanie-Palatinat, UWAMARIYA Marie Claire Vice Mayor Musanze district and Dr. Emile BIENVENU director of Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UR.
Dr. Marie-Christine GASINGIRWA, Director General for Science, Technology, and Research in the Ministry of Education commended INES for the AGEA project and is of the view that the project will help reduce unemployment.
