Our Innovation Week 2017, organized by the International SEPT Program and iN4iN with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), is taking place from 3rd to 7th July in Leipzig.
The iN4iN Program conducted training for Iranian High-Tech SMEs on the topic of Market-driven Innovation Management on 6-7 May 2017 in Tehran. In the training, managers of Iranian High-tech SMEs practiced various tools in order to manage their innovation process. The training was organized by FuTech Company and it was supported by Innovation and Prosperity fund in Iran.
The International SEPT Program and iN4iN implemented a 2-day Workshop on Market-driven Innovation Management in Bogota. The training was organized with our partner, Centro de Innovación Bogota. During the workshop, the participants learned practical tools that will allow them to develop innovative solutions that effectively respond to their customers‘ needs. SEPT and iN4iN will continue providing this training in Colombia.
Moreover, SEPT and In4In gave a conference on Market-driven Innovation Management at Universidad del Rosario. The event was held on March 25th.
IN4iN participated in the Annual Conference entitled, “First Annual East African Finance Summit (1st Annual EAFS)”, designed to provide a common platform for key players and stakeholders of the region’s financial sectors to come together and discuss financial sector issues that matter most in shaping the future of financial sector success in Eastern Africa.
The Conference took place on December 14-15, 2016, at the United Nations Conference Center, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We were invited as Speaker in the Conference, to share our knowledge and case studies on Innovation in Finance. Also, we developed a three-day training focusing on the improvement of the innovative approach in IT, Insurance and Banking industries.
Tanzanian entrepreneurs were coached on how to use innovative tools to improve their business models.
As part of the iN4iN Africa’s Roundtable Forum on SMEs Innovation and Responsive Policies -2016, a Boot Camp on „Building an Innovative Business Model“ was organized on the 22nd November 2016 for Tanzanian Entrepreneurs.
African entrepreneurs were introduced to tools that will help them improve their business models as they think about internationalization.
iN4iN organized a workshop on Innovative business models for African entrepreneurs at the Conference, „Universities, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa“ of the German – African University Partnership Platform for the development of Entrepreneurs and Small/Medium Enterprises.
The conference took place from the 10 -11 November 2016 at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
Our SEPT Alumni, Mohammed Hawass founded ilajy.com, an innovative e-service for patients from the Gulf states to provide them with adequate health care information on treatment opportunities and appropriate hospitals in Germany.
Roundtable Forum on SME Innovation and Responsive Policies – 2016 was organized by iN4iN Africa, University of Dar es Salaam and other organizations.
The forum was organized by the iN4iN Africa Network in collaboration with the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and other organizations from 23rd to 24th November 2016.
On the 17th and 18th, November 2016 the SEPT Program hosted the International Symposium on „International Entrepreneurship Promotion at Higher Education Institutions“with the aim of finding efficient ways to support the internationalization of start-ups. Participants from 28 countries presented chances and challenges of internalization and discussed first-hand experiences from entrepreneurs, members of NGOs and academics.
In this framework, the presentation of the Erasmus+ project MELES (More Entrepreneurial Life at European Schools) introduced all participants to the experiences in establishing entrepreneurial education courses in academic curricula, as well as realizing summer schools to teach entrepreneurial knowledge.
